The founder of The Therapy Place in Orlando, Florida has set her sights on Montevallo, Alabama having recently opened "The Therapy Place at Longshot Farm". This farm-based program utilizes horses, animals and nature's abundant sensory-motor resources to effectively target such issues as autism, ADHD, developmental delays, cerebral palsy, down syndrome and various physical and mental handicaps.

The Therapy Place at Lonshot Farm is a center that truly puts kids first with everything you can think of to create a unique and amazing therapy experience including:

• A beautiful 15-acre farm fully equipped with an equestrian barn with experienced therapy horses and handlers
• A multi-station sensory motor horse therapy course and a lakeside riding trail
• A sensory integration therapy barn with therapy swings, balls, mats and play areas
• A small animal petting zoo for animal-assisted therapy activities
• Several outdoor play areas with swings, slides, rock walls, play houses, sand boxes, basketball, tetherball and more!
